With the MEW4 monster truck, we are seamlessly continuing our successful vehicle series in 1:16 scale. Thanks to its technically high-quality equipment, the model is unparalleled in this class: A brushless motor, metal drive train, CVD drive shafts, oil-pressure shock absorbers, metal differentials and LED lighting are just some of the features that raise the MEW4 to a remarkable level. The large Li-Ion battery with 1500mAh ensures long driving times of up to 15 minutes. The achievable speed is around 40km/h. A 35A ESC and a 17g steering servo as well as inactive cooling (cooling fins) for the motor also contribute to the high durability.
The chassis as well as the wishbones and shock towers are made of composite plastic. An adjustable chassis and the aluminium oil-pressure shock absorbers ensure direct handling – full control at full speed lends. The monster truck is splash-proof and has ball bearings. This means that the model is fully suitable for outdoor use and cuts a fine figure on any surface. For efficient power transmission of the powerful drive to all four wheels (4WD), the vehicle was additionally equipped with a main gear wheel and a motor pinion made of metal. A 2.4GHz remote control that fits well in the hand is also included with the RTR set.
