The Amewi LAMA helicopter is a full-scale replica of the famous SA-315 Lama helicopter from the French manufacturer Aérospatiale. With its characteristic space frame construction, this light multi-purpose helicopter was specifically designed for use in high, hot environments and held the absolute altitude record for years. A number of Lama helicopters are still in use today, especially in Switzerland.
