The UBEC is an external DC-DC switching module which draws its voltage from 2-6S lipos. The module regulates the voltage to a previously defined value which is required by the receiver or other electronic devices. This is extremely stable and the output current is pearmanently up to 10A or briefly at 20A.
Because this UBEC is so powerful, it is particularly suitable for helicopters and other flight models.
Characteristics:
It has an extended DC-DC regulator chip which exceeds a conversion efficiency of 90%.
Various options in output voltage such as for receiver, gyro, servo and more.
It has a BEC “shoot-through” protection which prevents the input voltage from flowing straight into the output. The electrical components are thus optimally protected.
Other protective mechanisms such as overvoltage protection, short-circuit protection and heat protection provide even more security.
Two cables which are connected in parallel to the output of the UBEC enable the flow of significantly higher voltages.
