Tamiya 1:10 RC Mini Cooper Racing MB-01

Tamiya presents the Mini Cooper Racing on the MB-01 Chassis.

The mini was a small, two -door, four -seat car, which was produced by the British Motor Corporation (BMC) from 1959 to 2000. Original minis was built without model changes for four decades. This car had a front -wheel drive, which was unusual at the time and was characterized by compact mechanics and maximum interior. With its design, which was reduced to the necessary minimum, this car justified its status.

The MB-01 M chassis serves as the basis for the 58748 Tamiya model in 1:10 scale. With this chassis, both the drive type (front or rear engine) and the engine position (front, rear, low/high) can be freely selected. The drive takes place via a strong 540 electric motor and the wheels have a single wheel suspension.

About the MB-01 chassis:　

The compact, 2WD MB-01 chassis gives a choice of three types of wheelbase, and front- or rear- wheel drive system. Without removing battery pack, motor and R/C equipment setups from the center frame, simply change attachment directions of final gears and steering linkage to switch between front- and rear-wheel drive; low or
high motor position can be chosen for rear-wheel drive cars. The 4-wheel double wishbone suspension features symmetrical structure and friction dampers. Unitized sections such as motor mount, final gears and suspension facilitate ease of assembly and effective maintenance.

Required accessories: remote control with receiver, steering servo, 7.2V NIMH battery pack, charger, color for polycarbonate body (Tamiya PS).

Before you start assembly, you should have read and understand all instructions. If a child assembles the model, an supervising adult should also have read the building instructions.
Tools including knives are used when assembling the kit. Separate caution is appropriate to avoid injuries.
If difficulties occur during assembly, ask an adult who monitors the work or a model maker with RC experiences or specialist dealers.
Use tools only for purpose. If used incorrectly, there is a risk of injury.
If you use colors and/or adhesive (do not contain in the kit), observe and follow the instructions included there.
Keep kit from small children. Prevent children from taking some components in their mouths or pulling plastic bags over their heads.
